Relay for Life!

I will be walking in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on April 1. At least that’s the plan- I wasn’t able to actually walk last year due to poor health. I’m really hoping to do more than just fundraise this year though.

While it was tiring (I did not stretch enough to warm up) I also felt really good afterwards- it was a huge mood boost.

I do need to be more systematic about fund-rising, however. I just hate to ask family for money, especially when I have other family members also fund-raising for good causes right now.¬† ACS is very important to me, however- we have cancer survivors on both sides of the family (and I’d like to keep it that way).
