(By the way- I think this would be a brilliant band name!)
One of the many perks of seeing my sister was unexpectedly acquiring five pairs of work slacks and a pair of short in my size! After a great deal of work and dedication, sis lost a significant amount of weight. I was thrilled to see her healthy and happy, and it helps me stay on goal for my own weight loss. Since she had “in-grown” some of her clothes I tried them on for an almost perfect fit! Yay for clothes that fit (for free!) (even if I’m not thrilled with the number on the tag).
I did manage to do a fair job of walking for at least half an hour every day (except on the day we flew home, although we did get 10 minutes walking around the airport while waiting for our flight!), and tracking most of what I ate. When I weighed in Monday morning I was right back to where I was before I started weight loss again, but I didn’t go over! If I hadn’t started before the holiday I’d be up at least 2.6 pounds (and probably more since I wouldn’t have been as mindful of my portions). I hope to lose this again quickly.
