I finally, FINALLY managed to get my silk tree into my new office, so maybe those office pictures will finally happen! (Er, well, next week, maybe). It’s a spindly little tree, but it was on unexpected sale at the craft shop so I saved quite a bit. I will wrap white holiday lights around it and post pics soon. :}
Also related to office things, it may be time for a new travel mug. I can no longer get the sour milk smell out of the current one. eww.
Ankle is doing better- keeping up with my stretches every day makes a big difference. My allergies, however, are killing me. I am borderline sick since I’ve been pushing myself so hard this week. Today shouldn’t be too bad, and tomorrow will (hopefully) be a breeze. I am seriously looking at my holiday time and doing some math. I have about 25 vacation days accrued, and will use seven of them in June for our cruise. I will take at least one or two days while my family is visiting this month to spend with them and go to the parks. I’d desperately love to give myself a “mental health” day, but a little voice (which sounds suspiciously like hubby’s) keep saying “Save it for when you really need it!” Sadly, I will most likely listen to my conscience and not take tomorrow off, and skip bowling tonight. I’d love to go but my shoulders have been a mess and I need to admit that. *sigh*
I am also a bit frustrated with myself. My typing is getting really, really bad. I review before posting here so you don’t see the typos (usually), but they’re endemic in my casual typing. I just don’t seem to be aware of them until I hit “send”, even if I re-read and proof. (“But Elisabeth, doesn’t your computer put a red squiggly line when you type something wrong?” Sadly, not always.) I think tiredness has as much to do with it as anything.
Aaand… that’s about it for me. I wade through a little housework every evening so it doesn’t get too far ahead of me, but the state of the house is making me a bit mad right now. There just isn’t enough energy for everything.
