My earache has turned into ear congestion, so things are a little dizzy today. Luckily, I am not falling-over-seasick like I was last time this happened, so I carpooled with hubby and will have an interesting morning until the decongestant kicks in.
Last night I made myself a pair of earrings to match my smokey quartz bracelet, made a gift, and put the finishing touch on another gift. I also made about a dozen silver lucky stars for my own star jar. They’re very soothing to make- like manual meditation (I hear that knitting can be like that): something you can do without paying too much attention so you can think (or not think) while you’re working. I’ll post a pic whenever I finish the jar.
I will also probably retake pictures of a few items I’ve finished for the crafting blog. My photography skills still need a lot of work.
I have been breaking out in a ridiculous number of bruises lately. Not sure what’s going on there since my Thyroid is okay, I take extra calcium and D (which helps bruising) and a bunch of other things. Possibly a combo of not enough hydration and being clumsier than usual- bah.
Extra neck and shoulder stretches last night really seemed to help my stiffness, so I’m going to keep up with those. Also found a new hip stretch that may help from the Arthritis Connect newsletter, so I’m going to give that a try. If I could just figure out what to do about the constant knot between my shoulder blades I might actually be able to relax one day. Thank goodness for heating pads!
