My apologies that my posting is falling off a bit lately. I have both been unusually busy and unusually tired lately, which makes for an unpleasant mix. We managed to file our homestead rebate paperwork in time, which is an enormous relief. Next step: taxes. Whee.
The front flower beds continue to be unfinished- hopefully that will be rectified this weekend. I also did not walk this past weekend- mostly conserving energy to get past this patch of insomnia. I do hope to walk this afternoon with coworkers after my doctor’s appointment.
We have re-prioritized our next few home projects. We’ll re-screen the two windows in the master bedroom on the back of the house but wait on the screen door, since we hope to have the screened porch built this spring. We are also looking into adding insulating window film ourselves- hopefully that is a just a weekend job.
Our big purchase of the weekend- we ordered our futon sofa for the front bedroom from Overstock. It looks like a regular sofa but folds down into a full-sized bed for guests. I’m slightly concerned about timing delivery and actually getting it into the room, since it’s at an odd angle- we’ll see how that goes.
I managed to do a little crafting this weekend, a little gaming, and a whole lot of staring at the ceiling at strange hours. I see my GP today, my eye doctor, next week, and my endo the week after that. If all goes well, this may be my last time seeing my endo, ever. I’ve been pretty steady for over a year and my GP may be able to handle things from here on. That would be really, really super.
My next rheumy appointment is mid-April and that’s a big one for a couple reasons. I am trying very hard not to be anxious about it. I’ve had increasing pain lately for no good reason. I’m pretty excited about the warm weather, however, and hope to get back into swimming soon. God I love Florida, sometimes.
