I gave myself the day off from posting yesterday. Hubby had his every-other Friday off, so we get a three-day weekend together! Awesome way to end/start the new year. We have been working our way through the three seasons of Scrubs we received for Christmas. I am not particularly looking forward to going back to work on Monday when things will be crazy for a week.
I actually managed to stay up past midnight last night, mainly thanks to neighbour’s loud music and local fireworks. I am tired and achy today, but it’s the first time I’ve actually still been awake at midnight on new years in literally years, so that’s pretty cool.
With the replacement part we got from step 3 to step 6 on the elliptical- only to find that a major part was broken in shipping. A new part is on the way- yay for warranty! There are only 10 steps, so hopefully we’re close. :p
I now have my own pulley system and exercise strap, so today is stretching day. I’m hoping to set up one room more or less permanently for working out so I’m more motivated and have fewer excuses. Of course, now I have to round up my equipment and notes from my physical therapist- will have to wait until hubby is awake.
As for resolutions, I made one my senior year of college and have followed that every year since. I’m still sticking to it, and am a happier and healthier person for it. I’m not setting any goals for this year, expect to take the best care of myself that I can.
