Life continues to be crazy. I did make it to get blood drawn yesterday- only to find that I had left my paperwork at home and they were closing in 45 mins. I rushed home, grabbed my papers, and got back with 20 minutes to spare. I’ll say this- they really do try to accommodate flakes like myself. I also had the nice pheno- he’s very gentle and I hardly ever bruise with him.
I then tried to kill some time since I was an hour early for physical therapy. They were also super-accommodating and took me early. Amusingly enough, the other patient on my same schedule was *also* early, so it was a pretty full house. I mostly took it easy since I had just had blood drawn and did not exercise hardly at all last week due to the flare. I’m a bit stiff today, but it’s a good “I earned it” stiffness. I desperately need caffeine, however.
The last two days our thermostat has been possessed, dropping the house down to 65 degrees randomly. We finally figured out how to change the programming and what probably caused it, but having it so cold at night really messed up my sleep. Did I mention that I need caffeine badly?
Mostly, I am annoyed by randomness today. I am super light-sensitive for no particular reason at the moment (I’m always somewhat light-sensitive, the main reason why I avoid driving at night if at all possible). Also, my TMJ is still bugging me. I know it is probably stress, but am not doing a very good job of chilling out lately.
Also: allergies suddenly went from 0 to 60 in 24 hours flat. Allergies can die in fire any time now, kthnxbai.
I’m being careful, since the three items above combined put me at risk for a migraine (in fact, light sensitivity is one of my signs), and the preponderance of leftover Hallowe’en candy floating round the office probably isn’t helping at all. *whistles innocently*
Heading to the doc soon- wish me luck.
